Job Description Summary Responsible for overseeing all labor duties and production floor. Responsible for reporting issues to the shift manager, and has the ability to operate all food processing equipment. Job Description * Monitor production KPI's * Monitor production totals per shift. * Monitor equipment conditions and involve maintenance and sanitation as needed * Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems and complaints * Confer with other Leads to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments * Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production process * Train team members on safe operation of equipment * Enforce safety, quality and sanitation regulations * Conduct safety meetings and I Care Huddles. * Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions * Observe work and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that settings conform to production or processing standards * Make recommendations on production issues * Set, maintain and improve work area * Coordinate schedule updates * Follow all company policies and procedures * Back up for Team Leader Other tasks as assigned Basic & Preferred Qualifications Experience in a frozen food manufacturing facility required.
