Senske Lawn and Tree Care, LLC Parks Department Field Supervisor in Kennewick, Washington

Leading a team whose primary goal is to provide landscape and Janitorial services safely and efficiently to the Parks System. The Parks Supervisor is solely responsible and accountable for each of the park's contracts. This position may oversee some or all of the following areas: pruning, mowing, snow removal, aeration, irrigation, holiday décor, janitorial and parks maintenance. This will include emergency services as well during off hours. Hourly Compensation: 23$ to 27$ This is an Hourly position and overtime is required up to but not limited to 10-15 hours per week. An assigned company vehicle may be included with this position dependent on driving background. Providing mowing, string trimming, collecting debris, deadheading, mulching, spring & fall clean up, chemical applications and other general landscape maintenance tasks when needed. Providing clear expectations, training, guidance, and positive, constructive feedback to all team members. May assist in the hiring process. Including interviewing, communicating with HR, and onboarding new employees Enforcing all the company's policies and procedures, especially those concerning personal and environmental safety. Reviewing and executing each specific task as defined in the landscape maintenance agreement. Establishing, communicating, training, and monitoring the most efficient job path for each property. Directing team members in the selection and safe and efficient use of the appropriate equipment at each property. Final approval of all work performed. As the team is nearing completion of the assigned tasks, the Field Supervisor must inspect the property to ensure that every task has been completed according to standards. Providing relevant communication concerning the property to the Maintenance Manager and Branch Manager. Maintain a neat and clean appearance as outlined in Senske's employee handbook. Follow safety regulations and work in a safe manner This position manages technicians within the Maintenance department and is responsible for the performance management; assists with hiring, transfer, promotion, and termination of employees within that department. Job Qualifications: Associates degree in related field is a plus 2 - 4 years of experience as a supervisor or manager in landscaping industry. Effective communication skills; thorough and attentive to details; able to prioritize and multitask; proactive and deadline oriented. Ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and employees at all levels of the organization. Valid driver's license and safe driving record Excellent computer skills, including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. Effective oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, working with all levels in the organization. Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully. #INDCP1
