Schedule:Sunday-Thursday split between Benton County Jail and IO Clinics
Rate:$40/hr

Schedule:
Sun 0500-0700 at Benton County Jail providing dosing to inmates.
Mon, Tue, Wed 0700-1730 at the IO Kennewick location 8508 W Gage Blvd Suite A101, Kennewick, WA 99336. On site assisting with injections as well as patient care.
Thur 0700-1530 at the IO Kennewick location assisting with injections as well as patient care.
PURPOSE OF POSITION:Under the supervision of the VP of Clinical Operations, the Registered Nurse will visit with Ideal Option patients via phone and tele-medicine, gather pertinent data, discuss lab results, and develop life improvement strategies with patients to provide individualized treatment plans. In this role, you will work collaboratively with providers and patients to provide quality and evidence-based care.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The following functions have been determined by Ideal Option to be essential to the successful performance of this position which includes but is not limited to:
Supports patients during their initiation phase as they transition to medication for their use disorder.
Available to assist with any medication questions specific to withdrawals, dosing techniques, reviews provider doses and dosing instructions, etc.
Ensure timely communication to providers regarding prescription related issues, dosing questions, and abnormal lab results.
Communicate to patient any changes to plan of care.
Manage correspondences between the call center, providers, prescription teams, and nurse care team to ensure seamless care.
Assist with identified barriers to care and social needs, collaborating with the patient care team to provide appropriate resources.
Responds to patient questions and concerns regarding lab results, prescriptions, and general healthcare inquiries.
Complies with national PHI laws including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2
Administers injections onsite at IO clinics as needed.
Rotating taking after hours nurse calls from patients and address concerns as appropriate.

LICENSES/EDUCATION:
Required:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s in Nursing Degree, BSN
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in an addiction related field preferred
Experience in acuity-based triage preferred
1 year nursing experience required
WORKING ENVIORNMENT:
General office environment: Works generally at a desk in a well-lighted, air-conditioned cubicle/office, with moderate noise levels
Attend virtual meetings with team members and management
Flexible working environment in office, clinic, community outreach
Periods of stress may occur
Physical Demands:
Sitting and standing may be required at desk or for travel
Long periods in front of computer monitor
Significant typing required
Occasional requirement to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Occasional squatting/kneeling/bending/twisting/reaching

Domestic travel may be required for clinic rounds, patient care, community outreach, clinic development, and/or mandatory meetings.
