This position can be based in one of the following locations: Kennesaw, GA Baton Rouge, LA Naperville, IL Chattanooga, TN Fort Worth, TX Overland Park, KS Birmingham, AL King of Prussia, PA Birmingham, AL Kennewick, WA Emeryville, CA San Luis Obispo, CA The instrumentation and controls group is responsible for detailed analyses and interface design of nuclear plant components like Plant process computers, control valves, transmitters, process sensors (temperature, pressure, flow, seismic, level, and neutron flux), isolators, programmable logic controllers (PLC), Human machine interface (HMI) and more. They also perform modification, replacement, and analysis of nuclear plant systems like process control and protection systems, digital upgrades, communication systems, lighting systems, heat trace systems, physical security systems, and fire detection and protection systems. You will ensure designs meet stringent safety and regulatory requirements. As well as prepare comprehensive technical reports, specifications, and studies, documenting engineering analyses, findings, and recommendations. You may also provide installation and commissioning support of installed/modified systems at client sites.
