* Pur*pose of Position
Flaggers are responsible for stopping traffic, advising motorists of any delays and keeping vehicles in the proper lane through construction work zones. The flagging operation provides protection for other maintenance workers and the public in accordance with applicable traffic safety, regulation and directives.
Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience: Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma/GED. Experience preferred but not required. Must have reliable transportation.
Licensure/Credentials:Washington State Flagger Certification card. Valid Washington State driver's license, First Aid Certification. Must obtain DOT Medical Certification within 2 weeks of hire.
