As part of the Lamb Weston University Recruiting Internship Program, Interns work towards completing a Capstone project and are assigned a mentor who will guide and evaluate performance. Whether you are interested in Agricultural Science, Data Science, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, Manufacturing, Food Science, Marketing, or Engineering, our highly selective summer intern program has projects that will help you build the next stage in your career. - Paid Internship, May-August (actual dates may vary) - Gain real-world working experience through dynamic projects assigned by your mentor and assigned department - Network and learn from executives, department leaders, high performers, and fellow interns across the business - Receive guidance and feedback from your assigned mentor throughout the program - Professional development events providing tools that will help after the internship and after graduation Job Description Support the Lamb Weston Global Engineering team with several projects related to engineering in the manufacturing industry. A skilled mentor with be assigned to the intern for the duration of the internship. This mentor will provide training and complete weekly reviews to assess progress and answer questions. Intern will assist in the planning, execution, and completion of multiple projects at the company's Pasco, Washington facility. The intern will learn and execute the company's project development and execution guidelines alongside a team of project engineers with an emphasis in wastewater treatment facility design. Weekly reviews will be completed with the intern's assigned mentor to track progress and development. Duties & Responsibilities include: * Tracking and completion of project punch lists * Tracking of daily contractor safe work plans and planning * Perform system analyses to develop design options and cost impacts * Monitor and confirm contractor installation meet drawing and design specifications * Develop and redline project drawings (General Arrangements, P&IDs, Electrical) Basic & Preferred Qualifications * Must be a current Junior, Senior, or Master's student enrolled in a related program: Mechanical and Electrical Engineering or related field * Minimum GPA 3.0 preferred * This is a full-time position with 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday but a successful candidate may need to occasionally flex to other shifts (example: 2nd shift, night shift) as part of your capstone project * Va To view the full job description,
