Job Description Onsite Account Representative 21919 20th Ave SE, Bothell, WA 98021 WA073 Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 4:00pm OVERVIEW: Working as Full-time Onsite Account Representative, you will be responsible for all aspects of the customer relationship and will work with the customer's upper management to ensure business success and compliance with any national or local service agreements. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: oWorking directly with multiple customer contacts and building relationships with upper management oReceiving product; inspecting it for quality control, staging, scanning, and packing; and making deliveries oPurchasing product, quoting, sourcing, and managing inventory oDeveloping and executing a sales plan to reach and exceed business goals oCommunicating business statistics & progress toward goals oDeveloping continuous improvement programs oDemonstrating and maintaining cost savings programs oCreating a unique environment of program offerings oHandling day-to-day needs of the customer REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed oPossess a degree in Business/Marketing OR equivalent industry experience and knowledge of the local market oProficient using Microsoft Office Suite oExcellent written and oral communication skills o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency oDemonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities oExhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills oHighly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented oDemonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork oLearn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment oWork independently as well as in a team environment o Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs oPass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: oExperience and success in Strategic/Key account or National Account sales oPrior vending and implementation experience oKnowledge and experience using Timeline software oPrior process mapping and DMAIC experience oExperience speaking and presenting to groups of people ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
