This position is a multi-modality tech position, so we're looking for a highly motivated and flexible tech with training and/or registration / licensure in a second modality.

Hourly compensation is $44.25-$66.37; hiring rate dependent on qualifications, professional experience, and/or work location.

Details about the position:

  1. Responsible for performing all routine and specialized MRI procedures by integrating medical knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information.

  2. This position will be a multi-modality tech position, so registration / licensure in a second modality (i.e. X-ray, CT, ultrasound) would be highly preferred.

  3. Operates MRI scanner for data acquisition, reconstruction and documentation of images, and performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images.

  4. Applies the ACR Guidance Document for Safe MR Practices to ensure patient, visitor and caregiver safety.

  5. Performs other patient care activities, duties and responsibilities as assigned consistent with Caregivers’ scope of practice, training, experience and license/certification/registration.

What you bring:

  • Registration/licensure as an MRI Technologist, plus experience and/or registration/licensure in at least 1 additional modality (i.e. X-ray, CT, Ultrasound) preferred

  • Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology program required or equivalent education and/or experience as required for obtaining certification/license/registration as required by State for clinical practice.

  • One of the following is required at date of hire:

  • ARRT(R) Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist

  • ARRT(MR) certification

  • Registered Ultrasound Sonographer ARDMS

  • ARMRIT certification.

  • One of the following is required within 18 months of hire:

  • ARRT (MR) certification

  • ARMRIT certification

  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist licensure is required at date of hire.

  • Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at date of hire.

  • Minimum of one year previous experience is preferred.

  • Demonstrated venipuncture competency.

  • Demonstrated competency in computer-based programs as they relate to MR applications.

  • PACS/RIS knowledge is required.
