Description
Robert Half is looking for an HR Generalist for one our clients in the steel industry in Kalama, WA. In this role, you will be in charge of various HR functions, from handling employee relations to ensuring compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize HRIS systems like Workday and Dayforce to maintain accurate employee records
• Assist in corporate recruiting activities to attract top talent
• Handle employee relations and address any issues that may arise
• Maintain an understanding of compliance regulations and ensure company policies adhere to them
• Coordinate meetings and other administrative tasks as needed
• Be responsible for FMLA administration and other benefit functions
• Compile data and generate reports for management
• Manage salary structures to ensure fair compensation across the organization
• Implement and update administrative policies as required
• Utilize Workshare to promote effective collaboration within the team.
Requirements
• Expertise in using Workday for HR operations
• Proficiency in using Dayforce for managing HR tasks
• Strong understanding and experience with Benefit Functions
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven track record in Compliance and regulatory matters related to HR
• Experience in handling Employee Relations
• Knowledge of FMLA and its application in an organizational setting
• Experience in Corporate Recruiting
• Familiarity with HRIS - Human Resources Information Systems for managing HR data
• Ability to Coordinate Meetings efficiently
• Skills to Compile Data and generate meaningful reports
• Understanding of Salary Structures and compensation management
• Proficiency in Workshare for HR document management
• Experience in formulating and implementing Administrative Policy.
