Summary This position is located at Joint Base Lewis-McChord Texas Roadhouse Restaurant. JOB FAIR HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR 04 MARCH 2025. Responsibilities This is a developmental position to Waiter, NA-7420-03, PD#AK079. As a trainee, develops skills and knowledge as a dining room and cocktail lounge, and a family type restaurant environment waiter/waitress. Takes orders placed by guest for alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and food items from menus. Required to be fully familiar with all food items available and all beverage items available for guest consumption Collects cash or payment by credit card and maintains sales record. Clean, reset and arrange tables as required. Remove used glassware, china, and silverware to steward area for cleaning. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverages at the time of appointment; The State of Washington requirement is 18 years or older. Possess basic math skills necessary to compute patron bills and make change. Able to communicate effectively in English.
