Valiant Government Services, LLC Military Analyst Simulation Controller - PTOC in Joint Base Lewis Mcchord, Washington

Secret Regular Support the MTC JBLM government staff by providing simulation support during training exercises employing the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability - Multi Resolution Federation (JLCCTC-MRF). Assist in developing and executing plans for the employment of available equipment, facilities, communication and data networks. Develop and present simulation training plans to instruct exercise participants in the operation of the simulations. Accurately portray capabilities of BLUFOR and OPFOR forces. Assist the Event Lead in developing required technical reports. Perform additional duties as required. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide instruction, coaching and mentoring to exercise participants in the operation of simulation systems supporting collective training events. Portray real world or fictional enemy and friendly forces in the simulation. Conduct pre-event tests and evaluation of system hardware, event databases, and supporting parametric data. Document problems and record recommended solutions. Participate in post-event critique and analysis to improve system performance. When new simulation models or upgrades to current simulation models are introduced, obtain and maintain the functional proficiency in the upgraded capability. Accurately portray capabilities of BLUFOR and OPFOR forces. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Completion of an Officer Basic or Advanced Course; an Advanced NCO Course; a NCO Battle Staff Course; an Officer Intermediate Level Education course or equivalent military training. Four years' experience in modeling and simulation in lieu of formal military schooling. Recent experience with Department of Defense and Army Models and Simulations (JLVC, JLCCTC-MRF) specifically, WARSIM functional areas (Logistics, Maneuver, Aviation, Fires) Possess a US SECRET level security clearance or ability to obtain a SECRET clearance. Experience in operations and training in Brigade or higher-level organizations. Knowledge of military Mission Command, Military Decision-Making Process, and other operational planning functions. Familiar with the conduct of large training events in Decisive Action Training Environments. Proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
