Army Installation Management Command BUSINESS MANAGER (KITCHEN) NF-04 in Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington

Summary This position is located at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA Texas Roadhouse Restaurant. Regular Full-Time positions are guaranteed 40 hours per work week and are eligible for all Army NAF benefits. Responsibilities Manages a large franchise restaurant kitchen. Formulates instructions and gives directions necessary to operate a fluid, and efficient food production operation. Ensures proper handling, maintenance and storage of all items. Oversees all food production operations and is responsible for purchasing, receiving, preparation, and presentation of all food products in a timely manner and according to established recipe's and procedures. Conducts management review of patron food production programs to identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective measures. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Work experience managing or directing the activities of full service Franchise style restaurant (ie, steakhouse, etc). Minimum two years experience as a General manager or Kitchen Manager full service Franchise restaurant concepts preferred. Condition of Employment: The ability to obtain within first six months of employment and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited agency is required i.e. ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Program. NOTE: The above minimum qualifications must be described within the duties of previous work experience listed on the applicant's resume and assessment/questionnaire. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
