Siemens Technical Project Manager- Ultrasound in Issaquah, Washington

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to organize, plan, execute, and manage Value based projects of our premium Ultrasound products with exciting features and innovative new applications. The Project Manager leads a highly cross-functional team with the overall responsibility for all activities related to the new and Legacy products, including the schedule and budget.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Activity and resource planningfor the program. Work closely with all development teams includingSoftware, Hardware, System, Ultrasound Engineers, Acoustic Engineers,transducer, product management, OEM Suppliers and clinical to define,enhance and maintain the currently shipping product lines.

  • Lead project planning andexecution with external Engineering resource providers.

  • Work closely with manufacture NPIteam to organize, manage, and complete all design transfer activities.

  • Work closely with marketing,regulatory, service, and manufacture team to define, develop and maintaina commercialization plan included in the overall program plan.

  • Estimate, develop and maintainprogram budget.

  • Ensuring quality and customersatisfaction by following all regulations, standards, and companyprocesses throughout all phrases of the program.

  • Evaluate, analyze, and manageprogram risks. Work closely with cross-functional team to provideeffective mitigations. Provide clear and timely communication to themanagement team and stake holders on a regular basis.

  • Monitor program progress and teamperformance and provide regular reports to management team and stakeholders. Organizing and motivating the team to meet the program goals.

  • Work closely with sustaining teamto plan, develop, and release all sustaining changes.

RequiredKnowledge/Skills

  • Project/Program managementexperience with Software, Hardware, and medical space

  • Expert user of Microsoft Projector equivalent project management tools

  • Capability to build structures(WBS, reporting, resource planning, budget planning)

  • Experience with Bill of Materialand Change Control

  • Commercially /contractually aware

  • Effective and collaborativeEnglish communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Proficient with Microsoft WindowsOffice tools (Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint)

Education

  • BS/BA in related discipline oradvanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of educationand experience. Certification may be required in some areas.

RequiredKnowledge and Experience

  • Demonstrates and appliescomprehensive knowledge of field of specialization to the successfulcompletion of complex assignments

  • Demonstrates leadership skills ina technical environment

  • Demonstrates significantknowledge of organization’s business practices

  • Experience with full productdevelopment and commercialization cycles

  • Typically 5-7 years of successfulexperience in related field and successful demonstration of KeyResponsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.

  • Meticulous attention to details

  • Demonstrates quick learningability

PreferredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Management of externallyresourced engineering teams

  • Working experience with globalteam is highly desired

  • Working experience with medicaldevice manufacturing is highly desired

  • Working experience with SAP ishighly desired

  • Experience with Microsoft TFS

  • Knowledge in medical deviceregulations including ISO 13485 and CFR 820 is a plus

  • PMI or equivalent ProjectManagement certification is a plus
