The Technical Applications Supervisor for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for driving the performance of a team of skilled applications specialists within a specific region, who are focused on implementing instrumentation and providing an exceptional customer experience throughout the customer’s lifecycle.

This position is part of the NACO Applications & Customer Advocacy Team located in the U.S. Northwest Area and will be fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the U.S. West Applications Area Team and report to the Sr. Area Applications Manager responsible for leading the performance and strategic direction of the entire U.S. West Area Applications team; developing organizational skillsets/diversity, career development, and leadership potential; and operating a critical business function within Beckman Coulter. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead a team of skilled applications specialists and supervise the daily activities of business, technical or operations support teams. This role typically does not perform the work supervised.

  • Drive the implementation of all instrumentation and non-installation activities in your assigned region. This includes developing, coaching, and training operators in the use of Beckman Coulter Chemistry, Immunoassay, Hematology, & Urinalysis equipment.

  • Develop and execute creative strategies to influence the best overall customer experience, workflow, and outcomes.

  • Utilize policies, procedures, and business plan to guide decision making and drive compliance across your team. Regularly, receives guidance and oversight from Sr. Area Applications Manager

  • Work cross-functionally with sales, service, customer support, coordination, and marketing members to drive near-term and long-term business objectives.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ work experience OR master’s degree with 3+ years’ work experience.

  • 5+ years of working experience in Clinical Diagnostics, with heavy emphasis on Laboratory Regulatory environment, or the Healthcare Industry.

  • Ability to network and recruit top talent, manage resources, and demonstrate flexibility.

  • Proven, strong leadership skillset or >1 year of management experience.

  • Strong proficiency and experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI), Smartsheet, Miro, Salesforce.com, or Service Max.

  • Must be willing to work out of a home-based office, outside of normal business hours/weekends, and willing to travel 50% domestically. Possess a good driving record and can lift 50 pounds.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Medical Technologist or Business Degrees

  • Experience with EP Evaluator

  • Proven leadership experience in a Diagnostics Manufacturer Organization

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $82,000 - $143,300. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
