Costco Wholesale Corporation Systems Architect in Issaquah, Washington
Costco Wholesale Corporation is seeking a Systems Architect for its Issaquah, Washington office.
Job Duties: Build full stack solutions utilizing Java, Golang, Javascript and other languages including shell scripting. Design, implement, and build solutions using Istio service mesh infrastructure. Optimize and tune service mesh and CI/CD setup of the same. Setup, install, configure, and use Kubernetes. Create docker image for the microservices built. Troubleshoot issues related to the service mesh including performance and security issues. Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using various tools, or develop programs to achieve the same including writing scripts to automate user interactions, validating application behavior, and test execution. Performance analysis of systems at scale, analyze results of the load tests, and provide recommendations for achieving performance improvements. Research and build using service mesh and other open source solutions to automate using cloud technologies for ecommerce stack. Telecommuting permitted.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field. Plus one year of experience in: Docker and Kubernetes; Cloud formation technologies, such as AWS or Microsoft Azure; CI/CD tools (Gitlab, Jenkins); UI and API automation; Programming Languages such as Java, Golang, Python, or JavaScript; Shell scripting; and SQL.
Alternative requirements: Three years of experience in: Docker and Kubernetes; Cloud formation technologies, such as AWS or Microsoft Azure; CI/CD tools (Gitlab, Jenkins); UI and API automation; Programming Languages such as Java, Golang, Python, or JavaScript; Shell scripting; and SQL.
