Apply now for the position of Sustaining Electrical Engineer , and you will join our team to support the global supply chain for the Ultrasound business within Siemens Healthineers. This is a unique opportunity to participate in sustaining activities related to Electrical components for improving quality and reliability of ultrasound diagnostic system as well as improving the manufacturability of Global operations. This is an onsite position in our Issaquah, Washington office. Your Role: * Sustaining ODM and OEM components for medical Ultrasound equipment for manufacturing and service. * Perform first level failure analysis on factory failures and field returns. * Assist and cooperate with other engineers in PCBA design. * Support new product introduction (NPI) transition from design to manufacturing. * Develop & improve the manufacturing tools in both SW and HW. * Implement and refine manufacturing processes by continuous improvement and LEAN manufacturing principles. Your Expertise: * Driving Product quality & reliability improvement through Failure analysis. * Work with our vendors for improving their manufacturability and quality. * Work with our production team to resolve the hardware and system issues. Required Skills, Education and Experience for this position: * BS/BA in related discipline (EE/CE), or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas. * 10+ years working experience or equivalent education. * Experienced in schematic design and drawing. * Experience in using Hardware testing tools such as oscilloscope, DMM, logic analyzer, etc.. * Excellent analytical skill in electrical component and circuit board. * Excellent analytical skills and good judgment in assessing risks and control deficiencies, with confidence in resolving complex issues requiring management attention. * Leadership, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills. * Highly motivated, enthusiastic and works with minimal direct supervision to multitask and lead workload to timely completion. * Willing to travel, both national and international, up to 20%. The pay range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000 U.S. dollars annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as where the work will be performed.
