SanMar Sr Digital Imaging Specialist in Issaquah, Washington

The Sr Digital Imaging Specialist leads our in-house studio's image retouching efforts, setting standards, sharing expertise, and fostering creativity to inspire the team. The Sr Digital Imaging Specialist drives ongoing improvement of Studio Ops assets, collaborating across teams to implement technical and creative enhancements. This role actively engages in cross-functional teamwork, facilitating communication as a liaison to consistently achieve merchandising and creative goals. What Will You Be Doing? Collaborate closely with photographers, creatives, merchandisers, and project managers to accurately represent products in catalogs and online. Color correct images for print and web, ensuring accuracy by referencing actual garments or swatch cards. Implement color and file management standards for digital images, including retouching, enhancing, and creating silhouettes. Utilize colorization skills to generate multiple colorways from single images. Output various file formats for company-wide use and maintain image database organization. Coordinate with external vendors for fast turnaround clipping needs and specialized imaging requests. Communicate production changes and process adjustments to department leads, capturing them in SOP. Elevate standards by collaborating with creative and merchandising teams to align with company initiatives. Monitor industry trends and innovate approaches to enhance imaging quality. Engage in continued experimentation for process improvements. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and standards. What Are We Looking For? Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 4-6 years of post production, retouching, or color correction experience Fashion and/or retail experience Experience with garment color matching and skin tone correction Expert knowledge in file preparation, photo manipulation, retouching and product silhouetting in Adobe Photoshop within the Mac OSX environment Working knowledge of InDesign Knowledge and understanding of RGB & CMYK color profiles Superior eye for color and detail Ability to retouch to specific set of requirements Must be highly organized and process oriented to coordinate work flow, and thrive on time-sensitive projects while meeting deadlines What's Our Offer? Salary Range: Youll earn between $80,000 - $105,000 annually, depending on experience. Bonus: Youll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary. Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions.
