Costco Wholesale Corporation is seeking a Solution Architect for its Issaquah, Washington office.
Job Duties: Deliver Business Intelligence and Data Analytics solutions for Enterprise level organizations. Be responsible for meeting data analytics and reporting needs of business users across business areas and leadership levels. Convert business requirements into an end-to-end architecture and design that will become the blueprint for the solution being created to solve an identified business problem. Develop strategies and standards for Data Analytics. Define and document the proposed, high-level solution, to create Data, BI, and Analytics solutions. Analyze technical risks and advise on risk mitigation strategies. Responsible for the technical content (architecture and design), integrity, and quality of the solution. Evaluate non-functional requirements for testability and technical acceptance criteria. Address compliance requirements such as Payment Card Industry (PCI), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Personally Identifiable Information (PII), and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). Define and document the actions needed to close architecture gaps in support of business objectives. Telecommuting permitted.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Plus two years of experience in: Architectural and system design; Data Science AI/ML / Data; Java and Spring boot Microservice; Data Analytics; and Azure and AWS multi-cloud.
In lieu of a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus two years of experience in: Architectural and system design; Data Science AI/ML / Data; Java and Spring boot Microservice; Data Analytics; and Azure and AWS multi-cloud, employer accepts four years of experience in: Architectural and system design; Data Science AI/ML / Data; Java and Spring boot Microservice; Data Analytics; and Azure and AWS multi-cloud.
Any suitable combination of training, experience, or education is acceptable.
