Description Principal Safety Officer - 1 FTE/Days, 40hrs/week M-F, rotating on-call after hours The Safety and Emergency Management Program Manager plans, develops, implements, and evaluates safety programs especially related to the following disciplines according to Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Det Norske Veritas (DNV), and Department of Health: general safety (inspections, accidents/incidents); life safety (fire drills, testing, inspections); utility management; security and workplace violence prevention, clinical medical equipment; and hazardous materials and waste management. Preferred qualifications Bachelor's Degree Or equivalent educ/experience Master's Degree Or equivalent educ/experience Bachelor's degree: equivalent work experience Master's degree: Certificate Upon hire: Certificate in Safety, Security, or related environment of care field, Quality Improvement Environmental Health and Safety, or Industrial Hygienist 2 years Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
