Mechatronics Engineer

Responsibilities

· Develop and implement mechatronic solutions, bringing innovative concepts to life through hands-on engineering and rapid prototyping.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new robotic and metrology systems aligned with customer needs.

· Conduct rigorous testing and Design of Experiments (DOE) to validate product performance and reliability.

· Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug integrated robotic systems with a focus on continuous product improvement.

· Document clear, concise testing protocols and communicate results effectively to stakeholders.

· Stay abreast of emerging technologies to introduce forward-thinking solutions that enhance product capability and efficiency.

· Contribute to a culture of innovation, identifying new applications for technology within our industry and supporting development initiatives.

· Conduct onsite metrology services, performing detailed metrology data collection and reporting in a variety of industries.

· Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients during and after metrology service visits.

· Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including service reports and client feedback, to ensure quality and accountability

· Adapt to changing project requirements and timelines, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills to meet client needs effectively

Technical Skills & Qualifications

· Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

· Experience in Robotics & Mechatronics: Strong foundational knowledge of robotics concepts and practical experience in electromechanical assemblies (motors, sensors, PCBA's)

· Programming Skills: Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded controllers, with an ability to simulate robotic functions using tools like MATLAB.

· Analytical ability: strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for details and a proactive approach to troubleshooting

· Travel readiness: Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to support project deployments and customer site operations.

· Experience with analog/digital electronics and familiarity with test equipment

· Background in hands-on machining or fabrication for rapid prototyping.

· Demonstrated passion for robotics and innovative product development.

· Valid driver's license and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
