SanMar Director, Business Development in Issaquah, Washington

The Director, Business Development plays a significant role in advising SanMar on the continued growth and success of our investment in Elcatex Apparel Group. They analyze and provide recommendations to aid in the organization's sales growth and provide guidance to assist Elcatex in establishing and aligning its sales objectives with business, product, and profitability results. What Will You Be Doing? Guide the growth of national and retail brand accounts by the Elcatex team. Develop executable sales plan recommendations through effective analysis of market data, customer feedback and analytics, and up-to-date market trends - making recommendations to maximize the investment's nearshore advantages wherever possible. Develop brand partnerships to facilitate expansion of new opportunities across key retail channels. Guide external communications and marketing activities, to customers and other stakeholders in support of Elcatex's strategies and our ability to influence and make an impact. Recommend change, champion initiatives, propose solutions to remove obstacles impeding constructive change, motivate and coach others, drive urgency and results. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and standards. What Are We Looking For? Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. 10+ years in progressively responsible leadership roles within the apparel industry. Proven competency in business development, sales, customer experience, cross-team collaboration, drive for results, and written and verbal communications. Experience working across product design, creation and planning functions including merchandising, business analytics, brand management, demand planning, and product development at a world class brand or retailer. Personal ethical character that is effective, credible, and genuine. Proven ability to effectively influence, build trust, communicate, and connect. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills. Strong business and financial acumen. Ability to travel frequently. What's Our Offer? Salary Range: Youll earn between $160,000 - $220,000 annually, depending on experience. Bonus: Youll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 20% of base salary. Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 152 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off. Hybrid: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions.
