Senior Data/Information Architect to join our team located in Washington State. (Open to remote candidates in the US)

This role is pivotal in crafting, implementing, and managing robust data architectures that bolster enterprise analytics and business intelligence. The chosen candidate will collaborate closely with business leaders to synchronize data strategy with organizational objectives while supervising a compact team of ETL and BI developers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage scalable data architectures in support of enterprise analytics and business intelligence.

• Utilize Databricks to its full potential, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, and Databricks SQL.

• Implement and manage cloud-based data platforms and contemporary data engineering practices.

• Employ SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT pipelines to optimize data processing.

• Facilitate modern data warehousing, data lakes, and real-time data processing.

• Apply deep knowledge of data modeling, ETL frameworks, and Lakehouse architecture.

• Work with BI tools, including Power BI and Tableau, to enhance business intelligence.

• Utilize the Azure cloud platform and cloud-native data services for data management.

• Supervise a small team of ETL and BI developers, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting complex technical solutions in a way that can be easily understood by non-technical audiences.

Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of Data/Information Architecture

• Proficiency in using Cloud Technologies for data management and architecture

• Solid experience in managing and utilizing DB2 Database

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data

• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL

• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis

• Expertise in ETL - Extract Transform Load processes

• Experience with Datastage ETL for data integration

• Ability to leverage Power BI for business analytics service

• Proficiency in using Tableau for data visualization
