Enlightenment Home Care LLC Long-Term Caregiver in Grapeview, Washington
We are looking for a long-term caregiver to assist a client through her journey with ALS.
The client currently needs minimal assistance but that will change over time. We want to hire a kind, compassionate companion and skilled caregiver who can assist our client with ADLs of varying complexity long term as our client's needs change. There is a possibility for other clients in the same area to become available.
Current Weekly Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3 hours a day. The client is flexible on specific hours, but has indicated that she would prefer visits start between 7:30 and 9:00am.
Skills Needed
- Proven experience as a caregiver
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
- Physical endurance (we are a no-lift company but some work will still be required such as being able to stand for long periods of time, bend, help someone move, etc)
- High school diploma or equivalent
Required Credentials
- Valid driver's license or state ID
- Social Security Card
- Covid vaccine or valid exemption
- CPR Certification
- Food Handler permit
- Car insurance
- Eligible to work in the US
- Must pass a background check
- CNA, HCA, or NAR preferred
