Coulee Medical Center Medical Coder in GRAND COULEE, Washington
Coulee Medical Center is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Coder to join our HIM team! This position will be responsible for assigning ICD-10-CM/CPT/HCPCS codes to both inpatient and outpatient accounts timely, accurately, and within CMS guidelines. This position will also be responsible to ensure charges on accounts are accurate. Education/Experience:
• 2 years' of coding experience preferred
• Coding certification such as RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CCA, CCS or other valid coding certification required, or willingness to obtain within 1 year of date of hire
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary Range: The wage scale for this position has been finalized for the facility including 26 steps and the selected candidate will be placed on the wage scale depending on years of experience.
