Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate where you will perform manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products. This role includes receiving and putting away freight/stock, picking and building pallets for orders, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will also assist in other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive and put away freight/stock

• Pick and build pallets for orders

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Assist other areas as needed

• Operate stand-up crown forklifts/PITs

• Shipping and receiving duties

• Unload, sort, and inspect goods

• Verify items against shipment records

• Pack items for shipment according to specifications

• Record received and shipped items according to established procedures

• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas

• Complete written and computerized documentation

• Perform attention to detail, sorting, problem solving, discrepancy checking, and auditing

Essential Skills

• Over 1 year of experience operating stand-up crown forklifts

• Attention to detail

• Problem-solving skills

• Ability to record and verify shipment details

• Ability to perform manual labor and material handling tasks

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• General labor experience

• Material handling experience

• Order picking experience

• Ability to learn new processes and adapt to changing environments

Work Environment

Our warehouse is a very clean environment, similar to a Costco but even cleaner. The current shift is from 5am to 1:30pm, with employees working 46 hours a week. The warehouse is not automated, and employees need to be open to learning new processes. Safety is a top priority, and the environment emphasizes ergonomically safe practices.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FIFE, Washington.
