As a Staff Accountant you'll be responsible for assigned day-to-day accounting activities, processing transactions for the month-end and year-end close process, and providing accounting support to our business partners.You'll work with a collaborative team of high performers and contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business. WORKING LOCATION: This position is open to 100% remote within the US. If in MN, this would be a highly flexible hybrid position located in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro area. RESPONSIBILTIESPrepare journal entries, monthly accrual analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, prepaid expense entries and reconciliations, inventory analysis and reconciliations, and other analysis prepared in accordance with GAAPWork with external companies to ensure all corporate/property/sales tax filings are completed in a timely mannerComplete all activities of the monthly close process to generate timely monthly internal financial statementsDevelop and document business processes and accounting policies, as neededProvide accounting direction and/ or Oracle support to field operations and other corporate departments, as neededConduct internal audit activities, including depot auditsOther specific duties as assignedEDUCATIONBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field requiredCPA preferred, but not requiredREQUIREMENTS1+ years' experience in a corporate accounting role preferred1+ years' experience with corporate taxes preferredGeneral understanding of accounting principles and procedures (GAAP and ICFR)Experience with financial statement preparationExperience with general ledger functions and the month-end/ year-end close processProficiency in MS Office, specifically ExcelWorking knowledge of Oracle preferred, but not requiredOrganized and detail orientedStrong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environmentCustomer centric, self motivated problem solverEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERRestaurant Technologies is committed to providing a work environment that is free from discrimination and harassment in any form.
