Restaurant Technologies, Inc. National Distribution Manager in Fife, Washington
The Manager of Distribution is responsible for the overall multi-year strategy and management of Restaurant Technologies\' Oil Distribution. The Distribution Manager is responsible for providing collaborative leadership and a clearly articulated vision for the distribution department. What you will do Creating processes and systems that optimize both customer satisfaction and route productivity. Develops metrics at the company, depot, route / router level that identify opportunities for improvement, including KPI and performance monitoring. Leverages existing technology to minimize manual effort and maximize routing algorithms. Integrates fleet and other variables (Supply Chain, Oil Supply, HOS, Safety, etc.) in a cross-functional fashion. Promotes continuous improvement mindset and environment among employees. Assist Operations and Regional Management in developing and implementing a strategy for achieving oil distribution targets Manage external partners with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement Builds partnerships with key stakeholders (Depot Leaders and Sales) to provide service in a more efficient manner. Provides leadership and day-to-day direction to the distribution team Requirements Minimum 10 years\' experience in logistics and transportation solutions Minimum 7 years of leadership experience Experience with automating distribution systems and solutions ie., Ortec, Solera or McLeod Inventory control and systems - Cooking Oil Experience/knowledge of Lean six sigma training/background Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.
