Night shift: Sunday to Friday with start times ranging from 6 PM to 8 PM and end times from 12 AM to 3 AM. Compensation: $19/hr As a Mail Handler, you will stand at the forefront of our operations, meticulously sorting mail by class, scanning, labeling, and ensuring accurate and timely processing. Your responsibilities will include segregating and organizing mail by zip code in adherence to USPS regulations. Candidates must possess the ability to decipher numbers and letter codes, along with the physical aptitude to lift up to 50 pounds. Additionally, you will be responsible for applying USPS sort stickers and bar-coded tags on sorted containers. This role involves basic 10-key or scanner entry tasks, where you'll input package ID and/or zip code data into the UPS manifest system. Simultaneously, you'll weigh each mail piece and affix postage indicia labels accurately. Proficiency in reading and recognizing zip codes and barcodes on mail pieces is essential, as is the ability to efficiently use 10-key functions on standard computer keyboards.
