Visit us at: www.OdysseyLogistics.com/careers About the Job: The HR Business Partner collaborates with Division Leadership to support their teams on their organizational design, strategy, talent strategies, including talent attraction, leadership effectiveness, engagement, development, succession planning and retention. As an HR advisor, the job holder is responsible for understanding the full human resource needs in their line of business and works with the leaders to enable business initiatives. This role partners closely with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Operations and Site HRBP's. In This Role, You Will: Partner with business unit leaders and leadership to advise on policies and recommend talent strategies based on business needs. Act as a general consultant to management to help them understand employee and workplace issues. Responsible for the implementation of employee development and succession planning initiatives. Assist in development and communication of strategic initiatives impacting the division talent. Oversee the division talent agenda to ensure proper delivery of HR programs and compliance with labor regulations. Ensure management of grievances and implementation of disciplinary procedures are in line with internal processes and labor laws. Analyze Talent Management programs in place to aid in operations of team development and organizational goals as it relates to talent management, training & development, and employee retention initiatives. Manage the talent planning process, including performance appraisal management and salary administration within the HRIS system. Enhance the operations team by accepting ownership and providing innovative solutions to emerging business issues. Assist with the development and implementation of programs to maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures. Oversee HR Operations for the specific business unit in relation to employee files, maintenance of I-9 documentation, and other administrative duties as assigned.
