NineLine Veteran Services Housing Coordinator in Fife, Washington
NineLine Veteran Services Housing Coordinator QRF Program Full-Time Travel Position -- Multi county region -- travel will be required for this position. Our Housing Director will assist with onsite housing upkeep, assignment, and coordination. They will work with veterans in our housing program and veterans in other counties looking for housing. Coordination with community partners in housing and other supportive services is necessary. The Housing Director will assist veterans with coordination to needed services and supports including VA health and mental health care, financial programs, benefits programs, and other services as needed. The Director will collect monthly rents, perform regular management of properties (maintaining property logs), and coordinate with program participants providing case notes. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide property management and veteran services support to veterans seeking housing stability. · Oversee the management and daily operations of the NineLine Housing program, including training, supervision, and evaluation of case management staff and interns. · Provide and coordinate an integrated model of care that gives access to physical, medical, behavioral, and psychological health and well-being services. · Supervise and assist with implementing a comprehensive housing plan for each veteran in conjunction with case managers. · Take a leadership role in performance management and progressive engagement with clients. · Complies with applicable federal, state, and local legal requirements by reviewing existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising the Board on needed actions. · Visit housing locations and assist with maintenance of the physical facilities and all necessary housing-related program licensure and accreditation. Alert leadership in writing for issues (physical or with personnel) that require leadership intervention or immediate assistance. (To include seeking bids for repairs of homes) · Work collaboratively with the staff, program administration, and community partners to evaluate referrals and admissions to the program as related to the needs of potential clients. · Oversee and periodically review documentation systems and reports, as well as ensure compliance with quality assurance and safety programs; maintains all required paperwork and documentation necessary for program census maintenance and necessary recurring documentation to support program funding. · Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees, including case management note reviews and direct contact with veteran clients. · Coordinates and attends house meetings to ensure participation in veteran stability plan development, encourage veteran attendance of recovery and case management programs, and facilitate referrals to community partners. · Identify client and case manager training needs and respond to leadership training opportunities. · Emergency contact for off business hours on a rotating basis. · Outreach with community agencies OTHER DUTIES Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this job.
