What you'll be challenged to do:

BCE Engineers, Inc, now a division of TranSystems Corporation, is amechanical, electrical, low voltage, and life safety firm located in Fife, WA. Our internal culture forms the foundation of our practical approach to design, where we focus on providing maintainable, cost effective, and energy efficient solutions. Our engineers enjoy working on a diverse range of projects in a variety of sectors, including schools, military, healthcare, municipal, institutional, commercial, and multi-family residential.

Primary Responsibilities:

- - Design and model building and site power systems.

- - Design and model building and site lighting systems.

- - Size, coordinate, and specify lighting fixtures and electrical distribution equipment.

- - Calculate and analyze electrical loads.

- - Perform lighting calculations to ensure adequate light distribution and energy-efficient design.

- - Provide design support in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.

- - Attend meetings with the project team, including architects and other engineering disciplines.

- - Ensure electrical design complies with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
