Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team. You will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of tractors, including models from CAT, and Case New Holland, utilizing hand tools, torque wrenches, and impact drills. Your main duties will involve assembling and operating heavy equipment, operating forklifts, and performing inspections and installations.
Responsibilities
Assemble and operate heavy equipment
Operate forklift for loading, unloading, or moving pieces or machines in the work area
Walk the yard area to inspect, inventory, or identify machinery and/or pieces
Install buckets, couplers, and beacon lights
Clean cabs and perform various other duties
Essential Skills
Basic mechanical skills
Basic computer skills
3-5 years of proficiency using hand and power tools
Physical ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds for distances of 50 feet, including overhead lifting
Ability to climb and work at heights of up to 15 feet
Sufficient hand dexterity and strength to fasten, insert, and remove bolts, machine parts, and pins, and operate electric and air-powered tools
Capability to work outside in all reasonable weather conditions
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School diploma preferred
Forklift experience preferred but not required

Work Environment
You will work in a nice, clean warehouse filled with tractors from CAT, and Case New Holland. The work hours are from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. This is a 600-hour temporary-to-hire position.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fife, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00
