Description We are looking for a meticulous Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Federal Way, Washington. The chosen individual will be entrusted with the responsibility of account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and other general accounting tasks. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

• Performing balance sheet reconciliation to verify account balances match our financial records

• Executing bank reconciliations to confirm all transactions align with bank statements

• Managing the general ledger and assisting in month end close procedures

• Preparing journal entries and recording financial transactions

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data entry and financial report generation

• Proficiency in NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting functions and operations. Requirements • Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant or similar role

• Proficiency in using financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP

• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

• Expertise in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations

• Ability to prepare and post journal entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting

• Experience with month-end close procedures

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus.
