Health Advocates Network is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to work at a Facility in Federal Way, WA. This is a registry position with our company.

*40hrs Travel Package  *         

Weekly Gross Pay = $680       

Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $17         

Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $1806 (Hotel-1253 Meals-553)       

*Total Weekly ($1806 is not taxed)= $2486        *

Feels like per hour = $62.15        

$2486 div 40 hours = $62.15

  • Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu., Fri. 8am-4pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a school setting in Washington. The SLP will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with communication disorders, collaborating with teachers and parents to support student success, and promoting effective communication skills in the school community.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs

  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social development

  • Monitor and document students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on students' goals and accommodations

  • Educate teachers and staff on strategies to support students with communication disorders

  • Stay current on best practices in speech-language pathology and educational regulations

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Washington State license in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred

  • Experience working in a school setting with children and adolescents

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to special education and speech-language services

Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away
