We are known for our dedication to industry-leading client service and tailored solutions. Kennedy Jenks is seeking a Risk Assessment Scientist for our Remediation and Compliance group. In this position, you will be working with an environmental team consisting of scientists and engineers solving complex environmental problems. This role is ideally based out of our Princeton, New Jersey location but has the potential to sit in any KJ location. Key Responsibilities: In this position, you will be working with an environmental team consisting of scientists and engineers solving complex environmental problems. Collaborate with a team of engineers and scientists to ensure delivery of accurate and timely work for clients and projects across the country. Data management, risk assessment and statistical analysis; data preparation and management such as organizing, tracking, extracting and summarizing environmental data and their sources. Data evaluation, integration and visualization; documenting methods, results and recommendations. Field work including sampling, travel up to 30% Qualifications: BS (MS preferred) in Environmental Science, Biology, Toxicology, Chemistry or Environmental Engineering Required 3-5 years' experience in risk assessment or masters level education Understanding and appreciation for chemistry and Toxicology Strong quantitative skills Knowledge and experience with EPA risk assessment process, guidance, methods, and tools used for CERCLA and RCRA, as well as guidance, methods, and tools for State site remediation programs Excellent oral and written communication skills Collaborative, team-oriented Exposure to or experience in field sampling methods either through coursework and internship or on the job Kennedy Jenks supports a healthy work-life balance and utilizes a hybrid model of home and office work to empower our people to thrive and achieve their full potential. Work Locations: Princeton, NJ * Denver, CO * Portland, OR * Federal Way, WA * California Salary range for this position is anticipated to be $75,000 to $110,000, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications and geographic location.
