Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Revenue Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing claim issues, identifying trends in unpaid and underpaid claims, resolving complex billing discrepancies, and fostering strong relationships with internal teams and insurance payers. Your ability to problem-solve, think critically, and provide resolution will play a pivotal part in ensuring our financial accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify trends and perform root cause analysis on unpaid and underpaid claims to prevent them in the future.

• Research, appeal, and resolve claim rejections, underpayments, and denials with the appropriate insurance payor in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with clinical personnel, teammates, and insurance representatives to resolve issues and improve processes.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant insurance and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance in claims processing

  Requirements

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Strong ability to perform research and problem-solve using analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• History of successfully resolving challenging billing or revenue cycle issues.

• A team-oriented mindset with a demonstrated commitment to collaboration.

Preferred:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

• Prior experience in healthcare, medical billing, or collections.
