Health Advocates Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to work at a Facility in Federal Way, WA. This is a registry position with our company.

*40hrs Travel Package          *

Weekly Gross Pay = $800       

Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $20         

Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $1015 (Hotel-595 Meals-420)        

*Total Weekly ($1015 is not taxed)= $1815        *

Feels like per hour = $45.375       

$1815 div 40 hours = $45.375

  • Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu., Fri. 8am-4pm

Job Summary:

We are looking for a caring and professional Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a School Nurse in Washington. The School Nurse will be responsible for providing healthcare services to students and staff, promoting a healthy school environment, and collaborating with teachers and administrators to ensure the well-being of the school community.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to students and staff for illness, injury, and chronic health conditions

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers

  • Assess and evaluate the health needs of students and develop individualized healthcare plans as needed

  • Monitor immunization compliance and conduct health screenings

  • Educate students, staff, and families on health-related topics and promote healthy lifestyle choices

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and healthcare providers to support students with special health needs

  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records and documentation

  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed

  • Participate in school safety and emergency preparedness plans

  • Stay current on best practices in school nursing and healthcare regulations

Qualifications:

  • Current Washington State RN license

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

  • School Nurse certification or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe

  • CPR and First Aid certification

  • Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a school setting

  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to school health services.

Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away
