Aston Carter Receptionist in Federal Way, Washington

A construction / engineering consultancy firm in Federal Way, WA is currently hiring for a part time Receptionist. The hours are going to be Monday - Friday from either 12:00 PM PST - 5:00 PM PST or 1:00 PM PST - 5:00 PM PST (20 - 25 hours per week). The company has a startup vibe. They're looking for someone that is a seasoned professional but someone who can think outside of the box. Full benefits will be offered upon conversion.

Pay: $24/hr. - $26h/r. (Depending on overall qualification)

Location: Federal Way, WA (100% onsite)

Shift: PART TIME Monday - Friday (12:00 PM - 5:00 PM PST or 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM PST) - 20 - 25 hours per week.

6 Month Contract to Hire

(Key responsibilities)

• Answer multi-line phone, greet clients and visitors.

• Provide meeting organization and setup.

• Provide general administrative support, including preparing a wide variety of business correspondence (letters, proposals, etc.), filing, scanning, open and

distribute mail.

• Order office supplies as appropriate

• Ensure office and kitchen are clean and organized.

• Assist with issues regarding the building and/or office, by contacting building management.

• Handle Material Job Tickets (MJT’s)

(Job Requirements)

Considering local candidates as this position is 100% onsite Monday - Friday in Federal Way, WA

  • 2+ years of current or most recent Receptionist experience.

  • Exceptional phone and in-person communication etiquette.

  • Ability to type 60 WPM.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Excel.

  • Professionalism and great customer service.

  • Great oral and written communication skills.

  • Comfortability to submit to drug test upon onboarding.

Compensation is tied to the Colorado and Washington markets for jobs performed in Colorado and Washington. Other locations may be subject to variances based on location-related factors.
