JOB TITLE: Water Park Senior MechanicORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE: Reports to the Water Park Maintenance SupervisorFLSA STATUS: Non-exemptDEPARTMENT: Maintenance POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for maintenance of all equipment to ensure a safe operation.This position will focus on repair, construction, general upkeep, troubleshooting and rehab of water park rides and attractions and help to establish preventive maintenance and inspection programs that maximize uptime and minimize cost. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES andbull; Maintaining the highest standards of safety on all attractions and rides.andbull; Perform daily safety checks on park attractions and rides and attend to any repairs.andbull; Perform regular checks of pools and perform chemical adjustments to ensure a safe environment that comply with standards.andbull; Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on rides, equipment and facilities ensuring complete compliance of the manufacturer's specifications and park standards.andbull; Responding to all maintenance related radio calls in a timely and appropriate manner. Communicate with Dispatch Office and the Maintenance team when equipment failures resort in attraction downtime or closures. andbull; Work with team members to ensure the complete compliance of the manufacturer's specifications and park standards. andbull; Maintaining all appropriate documentation.andbull; Communicate with the Water Park Maintenance Supervisor and Director of Maintenance any hazards that arise to ensure the safe completion of repairs.andbull; Assist the dry park maintenance team with projects as needed.andbull; Assist with holiday promotion set-up, repairs and tear-downandbull; Be a proactive member of the maintenance team.andbull; Must be able to work varied shifts, including holidays and weekends. SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS, AND QUALIFICATIONS: andbull; Must be 18+ years of age andbull; 3 andndash; 5 years of previous pool maintenance experience; experience in an Amusement park setting desired. andbull; Must have a valid WA driver's license.andbull; Must have skills and knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, filtration and drainage systems.andbull; Plumbing knowledge a plusandbull; Must be comfortable performing duties in water at a depth of up to 12 ft.andbull; Welding skills a plus.andbull; Communicate effectively and appropriately with all guests, co-workers and management.andbull; Must be a self-starter, able to multi-task, work independently and have a positive attitude.andbull; Ability to trouble-shoot problems and present solutions for a variety of situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.andbull; General math skills including, but not limited to basic algebra, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and the ability to read measurements.andbull; Commitment to company values.
