The Patient Support Representative (PSR) will work in conjunction with the Community Outreach Specialist in all aspects of marketing and sales, including establishing, maintaining, and cultivating positive referral source relationships in order to achieve budgeted admissions and census.
•Work in conjunction with Community Outreach Specialist on Quarterly Strategic Plans that will drive successful, specific outcomes
•Work under the current Community Outreach Specialist to relieve certain tasks that will allow the Community Outreach Specialist to continue to grow and develop new and existing accounts
•Assist on strategic accounts to provide consistent warm hand-offs and collection of clean and accurate paperwork
•The PSR program will support a predicted growth rate of 15%
•Coordinate, prepare and provide educational materials in support of the Community Outreach Specialist
•Represent Signature Home Health and Hospice at business and community marketing and networking events such as but not limited to, the Administrator’s Meeting, local Chamber events, Senior Fairs and Health Fairs
•Meet daily with Community Outreach Specialist to keep abreast on current duties, events and any needs that may arise•Make joint, specific calls on key customers with Community Outreach Specialist
•Provide periodic updates and presentations on current accounts
•Make recommendations to current Signature programs for providing better patient outcomes
•Submit all required documents and paperwork timely
•Take calls after hours and on weekends, if needed
•Occasional support of in-take role and serve as potential back up for PTO
•Support mission, values and goals of Signature Hospice, Home Health & Home Care
•Ability to deal tactfully with customers and the community.•Demonstrates good communications skills, negotiation skills, and public relations skills.
•Demonstrate upward mobility and the desire to be part of a mentoring program.
•Must have a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
•Ability to manage payer mix of patients.
•Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
•Demonstrates autonomy, organization, efficient time & territory management, assertiveness,flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
•Efficient time management and territory management skills.
•Possess strong computer skills and knowledge of office technology – e.g. email and internetservices, facsimile machines, telecommunication devices, etc.
