We are actively seeking a Marine Structural Engineer with 10 to 15 years of experience to join our Seattle, Federal Way, or Vancouver, WA offices. This position will include management, supervision and training of junior structural engineering staff and will be responsible to lead engineering, planning, design, and analysis activities for waterfront, port and maritime infrastructure projects. Lead and manage projects, including cost estimates, budgets, scheduling and documentation preparation, support and evaluation Recommend contracting strategies Construction support Resolve design problems that may include performing field investigation or inspection Design detailed plans and structural analysis Perform finite element static and dynamic structural modeling of structures Prepare design concepts, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates Calculates quantity estimates Coordinate plan details with drafting technicians Prepares inspection reports as needed Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects Oversee work of CAD designers, technicians and other engineer's work Mentoring of staff Other duties: Please note this job posting is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
