Raymond Handling Concept Corporation Lean Management Specialist in Federal Way, Washington

Raymond West is looking for a proactive Lean Management Specialist to join our team! The Lean Management Specialist plays a critical role in driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and eliminate waste, optimize processes, and improve overall efficiency and effectiveness. Duties and Responsibilities: Primary duties and responsibilities will vary with the specific position. Typical responsibilities are listed below. This list is not inclusive. Lead and Facilitate Lean Projects. Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities within key business processes. Lead and facilitate Lean projects including 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen/Jishuken events. Coach and Mentor teams on Lean principles and tools. Develop and implement action plans to address identified issues. Champions safety as an integral part of everyone's job and hold self and employees accountable to the highest standards of safe conduct. Data Analysis and Reporting. Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and root causes of problems Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure the impact of Lean initiatives. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project findings to stakeholders. Process Improvement. Document and standardize best practices Implement and maintain process controls to ensure consistency and prevent defects. Develop and implement mistake proofing (poke-yoke) devices to eliminate defects. Training and Development. Conduct training sessions on Lean principles and tools for employees at all levels. Aid in the development and training materials. Maintain training materials and resources. Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization. Change Management. Effectively communicate and manage change associated with Lean initiatives. Address employee concerns and resistance to change. Build consensus and support for Lean initiatives across the organization. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent Organizational Time Management skills Proficient in Microsoft office Suite and similar software Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with employees, Co-workers, and Managers in other departments Must be willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate and willing to assume more responsibility as required Proven experience in leading and facilitating improvement projects. Strong analytical skills. Education/Experience: Minimum Education and Experience: Determined by position Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred 5 years of experience in Lean manufacturing or process improvement. Travel Requirement: 25% Travel Annually Must be able to be insured by Raymond West.
