Job Title: Help Desk Technician (Onsite)
Location: Seattle, WA
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Technician to join our onsite team in Seattle. This role requires a tech-savvy individual with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service mindset. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support for Windows and Mac systems, mobile devices, and audio-visual equipment in a dynamic environment.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Windows and Mac PC/Laptop Setup and Support:
- Manage the hardware lifecycle: purchase, inventory, configuration, deployment, and disposition.
- Handle software installation and configuration, including AzureAD joins, Office 365 Suite, AV/EDR, Inventory agent, and Adobe.
- Migrate user settings, ensure backup and network file access, and update documentation.
- Monitor event and security logs for patch management, firmware, and software updates.
- Diagnose and remediate malware and phishing issues.
- Address Windows and Mac performance issues.
- Support Microsoft Office 365 usability, performance, and functionality.
Mobile Device Support:
- Set up and support iOS devices, including iCloud setup and training.
- Set up and support MFA authenticators.
Audio Visual and Other Support:
- Support Zoom Rooms in conference rooms.
- Assist with guest WiFi and printer access.
- Manage the conference room iPad booking system.
- Provide white-glove support for VIP users, ensuring seamless tech experiences.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, Office 365, iOS, and Android.
- Basic PowerShell scripting experience.
- Eager to learn and excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with users at all organizational levels.
- A passion for technology, with a track record of problem-solving and technical curiosity.
