Field Installation Manager RHCC Auburn WA Field Supervisor-SUPFLD Raymond West is looking for a detailed Field Installation Manager to join our Systems team! The Field Installation Manager (FIM) is an entry- to mid-level leadership position with the specific focus of ensuring 100% execution of on-site equipment installations at customer locations. The position may require up to 80% travel across the United States. The culture is fast-paced, high-growth with room for advancement based on accomplishments and skillsets. The FIM needs to perform independently on the jobsite, but also coordinate as part of a team consisting of the project manager, sales representative, equipment suppliers, installers/ technicians, FIM Supervisor, and customer representatives. Coordination and problem solving are a daily part of the FIM's role. The FIM is responsible for the start-up, installation delivery, commissioning, and post-support of an installation, or any stage thereof. The FIM will be a key influencer with Raymond West and the customer. The FIM may evaluate and recommend changes in methods or procedures, not only in direct area of responsibility, but also within the total process flow. During an installation project, the FIM is assigned to a Project Manager with whom daily communication and coordination is required. The FIM is heavily responsible for the overall success/outcome of an installation. Raymond West is committed to providing our customers with end-to-end warehouse solutions. Duties and Responsibilities: Primary duties and responsibilities will vary with the specific position. Typical responsibilities are listed below. This list is not inclusive. Provide on-site supervision of installation projects and work closely with Raymond West Project Manager to provide accurate and timely installation. Manage 3rd party installer or other 3rd party labor services on customer site. Capable of briefing effective daily safety topics and daily plans/goals to installation technicians. May provide some mechanical/electrical and controls assembly to assist installers if needed. Complete installation projects while preventing or minimizing cost overruns. Verify site dimensions, obstructions, power feeds, and other items needed for a successful installation. Maintain project installation schedules and convey the goals to the sub-contractor. Identify and present potential cost-saving practices with the Raymond West Project Manager for future solutions. Maintain systematic reporting and accountability records including job site safety, daily reporting, end-of-project reporting, per checklist standards. May be required to provide permit submittals and supports the permit inspections. Communicate effectively to keep the Project Manager informed of progress and any issues that develop, so the PM can communicate to the customer in a timely manner. Ability to travel up to 80% of time: weekends, nights, and holidays may be impacted. Must be first on site; last to depart. Must be able to manage time effectively. Demonstrate drive and initiative. Maintain records of activities. Must respond to rapidly varying requirements.
