Salary Range: $67,335.65 - $104,878.28. Applies to locations with a market similar to our U.S. HQ in the Greater Seattle area. A different range may apply based on your work location. 01 The Job Our Digital Program & Operations team is responsible for a collection of services aimed at supporting the efficient execution of Digital Team projects & initiatives, engaging our employees, and managing our financial reporting to the organization.

In this role you’ll position yourself as a valuable advisor and doer, guiding the directors and colleagues you work with in an effort to improve our divisional finance tracking and project/portfolio management services so that we know what we’re working on; how much that work costs and what outcomes our ministry will realize from the work.

As the Digital Team Project Planning & Finance Manager, you’ll join a 4-person Digital Operations Team, led by Tamalyn Ramsey (https://www.linkedin.com/in/tamalynramsey/) . Together our mission is to increasingly add value by creating structure, organization, simplification, financial stewardship, and sustainability to our 100+ person Digital Team at World Vision USA (with functions such as website development and delivery, marketing automation, digital innovation, information security, data privacy, and digital enablement to the rest of the organization).

02 What success looks like

Success in this role offers amazing opportunities to partner with senior leaders, team members, and colleagues across divisions to realize our goals. You will have projects to work on that increase our divisional team’s efficiency, accuracy, and contribution toward incredible ministry goals. More specifically within the first several months, you will:

  • Manage and continuously improve a system for managing divisional finances, expenses, and cost allocations so that within 90 days an initial approach is in place and understood by stakeholders.

  • Be the center of a workflow process in which you facilitate and manage the Digital Roadmap of Projects so that every 30 days we have a clean backlog, a shareable roadmap artifact, and strong participation from stakeholders.

  • Partner with the Digital Leadership team and colleagues to support the management of projects as identified across the departments.

  • Work alongside the Sr. Business Operations Manager and Senior Director for Digital to execute a communication plan that encourages a strong identity among digital team members to the incredible work delivered by the division.

    03 You bring A Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field or 8 years of equivalent work experience. In addition, this role requires 5-8 years of work experience involving leadership, communication, negotiation, administration skills, and the exercising of discretion and confidentiality.

    04   Additional skills we’re interested in   You have demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with a wide variety of disciplines, including project management and financials. You have excellent communication capabilities in multiple mediums: presentations, email, oral, and video. You have a history of organizing work to ensure timely completion. You have experience managing organizationally complex budgets. You’re the type of person that can be curious, ask questions, and work autonomously, hitting deadlines and moving projects to completion with minimal supervision necessary. You love supporting others and you have been playing with numbers since you were a kid.
