Thrivent Financial Administrative Assistant in Federal Way, Washington

Summary

This position provides administrative support to Nick Dare of Ascend National Wealth Advisors. This role is critical to our member experience and requires a friendly, upbeat demeanor. The incumbent supports the daily operations of the practice, including, but not limited to: answering the phones, meeting/greeting members, handling/distributing postal mail and practice email, ordering supplies, utilizing Thrivent Financial computer systems and programs in support of client relations, and other administrative tasks as assigned. The Administrative Assistant reports to and is employed by Nick Dare.

This position is an in-office position. Benefits include PTO and holiday pay, professional development and growth opportunities. There are no medical benefits provided. Compensation is $18-24/hr dependent upon experience.

Job Description

Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Schedule and confirm client meetings, ensuring all necessary arrangements are made.

  • Coordinate with clients and internal staff to manage calendars and appointments.

  • Send reminders and follow-ups to clients regarding upcoming meetings.

  • Assist in processing client service requests promptly and accurately.

  • Handle administrative tasks related to account management and documentation.

  • Liaise with clients to gather required information and ensure their requests are fulfilled.

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and strategies.

  • Manage social media accounts and company website updates.

  • Prepare and distribute marketing materials, newsletters, and other communications.

  • Track and report on marketing activities and campaign performance.

  • Handle incoming calls and emails, providing professional and courteous assistance.

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date client records and files.

  • Perform general office duties such as data entry, filing, and office supply management.

  • Meet and greet clients upon arrival to the office.

  • Completes other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

Position Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Previous administrative/secretarial experience desired

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or ability to learn

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions

  • Experience with social media platforms and basic marketing principles.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • High level of professionalism and discretion.

  • Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information

As part of Ascend National Wealth Advisor's recruiting/hiring/contracting process, a verification of a candidate's background will be made to complete the hiring/contracting process. In addition, fingerprints will be taken for submission to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for review against nationwide fingerprint records.
