Robert Half is currently seeking a meticulous Accounting Clerk to efficiently perform a range of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks for our clients in Federal Way, WA. The successful candidate will ensure the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update accounting records by performing activities such as reconciling bank statements, recording transactions, and processing invoices.

• Assist with the preparation of basic financial reports on a regular basis.

• Complete data entry tasks as well as other administrative duties like filing and the organizing of documents.

• Support other staff members in performing related duties such as budget tracking or the preparation of financial reports.

• Assist the accounting department in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to company accounting and financial guidelines.

• Undertake special projects and provide support to the accounting team as needed.

• Input, update, and manage financial data in the company’s accounting system.

  Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Previous experience as an Accounting Clerk preferred.

• Strong proficiency with MS Excel and accounting software.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent data entry, numerical, and analytical skills.

• Effective communication and organization skills.

• Strong knowledge of commonly used accounting procedures and principles.
