Job Description Overview CORT Party Rental has been the premier event rental company in Washington State for 50 years. Learn more about us @cortpartyrental We are seeking a Woodshop Specialist to join our team in Everett, WA. Pay is between $24 to $28 per hour, depending on experience. $2,500 Retention Bonus Available! Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm; occasional weekends and overtime will be required. Responsibilities Safely utilizes various woodshop tools including table saw, chop saw, routers, sanders, planers, pneumatic tools, and other typical woodworking equipment. Safely and effectively operates all tools and equipment to industry standards. Skilled at assessing repair viability of damaged or broken rental items, and repairing or repurposing as needed. Ability to read shop drawings and use them to create simple components and assemblies accurately and within tolerance. Manages workflow to ensure a clean and organized workplace. Cleans and organizes daily, or as needed to keep and maintain an organized and functional workspace. Consistent reporting of in-house inventory of shop consumables and materials to supervisor. Ability to be forklift certified. Will need to be able to transport product safely to and from racks. Assist the repair department under the supervision of the repair lead. Duties may include but are not limited to sanding, painting, basic electrical repair, basic carpentry, or other repairs. Qualifications Minimum High School diploma or equivalent. Must be 18 years of age. At least 3-4 years of woodworking experience, with an emphasis in cabinetry, store fixtures, displays, and carpentry. Safely operate and have experience with a table saw, chop saw and various power tools. Ability to read and interpret shop drawings. Contribute to designing prototypes for potential new rental items. Ability to regularly lift at least 50 lbs. or more frequently. Ability to speak, write and read English. Ability to drive or learn to drive a forklift preferred. Must have reliable transportation.
