Job Description Overview CORT Party Rental is hiring an experienced Warehouse Manager! This position is responsible for coordinating and managing the daily warehouse activities, more specifically those of the Linen, Dish, and General Warehousing departments. This includes participating in the hiring process, conducting performance reviews, writing development plans, progressive discipline reports, and potential termination of staff. Develop and nurture talent, train, coach, mentor, and support team members across the organization. Assist in the development of current and long-term organizational goals, objectives, and strategies as well as policies and procedures. Set employee schedules and manage departmental overtime. Direct warehouse efforts to ensure effective movement and controls are in place for maximizing profitability. Ensure all departments, including Customer Pickup, share staff as necessary. Taking a holistic view of productivity levels and directing resources for optimal efficiency. Ensure compliance with established processes, develop and make recommendations on new processes. In partnership with other management, identify quality control standards and processes and manage the Best Demonstrated Practices process to ensure effective movement of inventory. Monitor and record productivity using performance metric tools developed. Contribute to the evolution of these tools. Work with other management on coordinate cycle count schedules and facilitating the completion of these counts. Monitor Customer Pick Up, ensuring CORT provides the perfect customer experience. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 10 years progressive leadership experience in a warehousing/distribution environment. Management experience with demonstrated ability to develop employees and maintain effectiveness with peers. Excellent communication skills, reasoning skills, and computer proficiency skills. Highly organized and adaptible in all areas of job. Must have reliable transportation. Ability to speak, read and write English fluently. This position is work that involves moderate to heavy amounts of physical activity. Requires the ability to stand up to six hours in an eight plus hour workday, lift up to 40 pounds frequently and up to 60 pounds occasionally, and required to use manual pallet jacks and hand trucks. Frequently required to stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel and crouch as well as push, pull and reach overhead with hands and arms.
