SUMMARY:
The VIP Interior Installation Technician works under general supervision to safely perform aircraft removals, installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interiors (which may include galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors, and panels).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Manufacturing and fabricating monuments from raw materials on VIP aircraft including wood, honeycomb, fiberglass, sheet metal and veneers.
Fabricates, fits trim, and installs interior components, galleys, bulk heads, doors, side ledges, game, and conference tables.
Performs troubleshooting and repairs to inspect incoming cabinetry and interior, removals, inventory, interior, protection, and proper interior nomenclature for part identification.
Tests functional performance of installed items
Performs other duties as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma/GED
Two (2) years of applicable installation, fabrication, or related experience.
Experience in aerospace industry preferred.
PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY:
The employee will be required to sit, use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects close.
The employee will also be required to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, kneel, and sit. Required to climb ladders/stairs, and work in small areas.
The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Compensation- Base Salary: $22.00 - $33.00 per hour.
